My twelfth fiction novel, The Meadows, is now available in E-Book, paperback and hard cover through Amazon, and paperback and hard cover through Barnes & Noble.
WARNING: This book IS NOT suitable for anyone under the age of 18. It contains scenes, situations, and language that some might find offensive. I did go to the dark side with this one. For example, one of the couples residing in the Meadows is a dominatrix and her cross-dressing husband who engage in S & M. Their sex scenes are bizarre and graphic. Another one of the characters is described as a “masturbation aficionado.” She’s a nymphomaniac who habitually pleasures herself because her husband no longer desires her. Scenes involving this character are also quite graphic. Other residents include a married couple who believe they’re vampires, a 70’s horror movie scream queen, a voyeur, and a UFO enthusiast/conspiracist. Everyone living inside the Meadows has their quirks. That’s what makes them eclectic, interesting, and occasionally, humorous.
However, the main focus of this novel isn’t about sex or sexual exploitation. It isn’t erotic or romantic. It’s about solving two gruesome murders that occurred inside the neighborhood, the unorthodox practices of a secret society, and the members’ involvement in inhumane acts committed solely to satiate their unusual appetites.
The Meadows definitely isn’t for prudes or the squeamish. It was fun to write, though. And definitely more than a bit off the usual path for my work.
