If, after seeing that blatant display of Russicism by Donald Trump and J.D. Vance at the meeting with Volodymyr Zylenskyy inside the Oval Office, you’re still not convinced that us Anti-Trumpers have been telling you the truth for years about Trump’s close ties to Russia and his sickening adoration for Putin, then the time has come for you to pick which side you want to be on because obviously nothing we say is ever going to sway you. Will you choose Democracy or Dictatorship? If you don’t understand the difference between the two types of governance, then I highly recommend that you grab the nearest dictionary or surf on over to Wikipedia, look up both words, then compare them. Once you understand the difference, then you’ll comprehend why you can NOT be a supporter of Russia and Putin then call yourself an American patriot at the same time.

I have never been more embarrassed to be an American than I was watching Trump and Vance ruthlessly attack the democratically elected leader of a foreign country who just happens to be an ally of the United States. They badgered him for not saying thank you for the assistance he’s received from the US. Accused him of not being grateful. Trump belittled him over his hatred for Putin. Hold on…wait a second. Vladimir Putin incited an unprovoked war against Ukraine in an effort to take land that didn’t belong to him. He thought his army would be in and out in a flash, believing they could easily overthrow the Ukrainians and claim victory. He never expected such a mighty and powerful pushback from Zelenskyy and his team of warriors. The attack on Ukraine has resulted in thousands of deaths of innocent people, including children and babies, demolished homes, businesses, schools, and many other structures. Putin refuses to call off the war that he started. What the hell does Trump expect? Zelenskyy to love Putin and grovel at his feet the way he does? Putin has destroyed Zelenskyy’s homeland, murdered his citizens, and destroyed acre upon acre of land and valuable monuments. Zelenskyy has every reason in the world to hate Putin, as he should. Wouldn’t you if we were talking about him doing this to the US?

That display that Trump and Vance put on at that meeting was planned for an audience of one. They intentionally attempted to humiliate Zelenskyy in front of news cameras for Putin’s benefit. News agencies and journalists, I might add, that were handpicked by the White House, like Brian Glenn from the right-wing news network, Real America’s Voice. He also happens to be the boyfriend of blonde bimbo MTG. He attempted to berate Zelenskyy by scolding him for not wearing a suit while inside the White House. “Do you even own a suit?” he asked. My immediate response was, “Has anyone ever asked Musk that same question?” All I ever see him wearing inside the Oval Office is blue jeans, a T-shirt, tennis shoes and a cap.

Whether you’re aware of this or not, there was one news network in attendance that wasn’t on the list of pre-approved networks yet they were allowed to attend the meeting without question. TASS, Russia’s largest news agency was there. Filming. Recording. Reporting. Immediately following the meeting, Putin issued a statement commending Trump and Vance for their performance. ‘Nuff said.

So, you think that Zelenskyy’s a thug and/or a dictator just because Trump told you he was, all while glorifying the man who actually IS a thug and a dictator? Do you even understand the differences between Putin and Zelenskyy or do you simply rely on what Trump and those right-wing “news” agencies tell you? Do you ever bother taking the time to do your own research? Since your answer is probably no, then allow me to highlight some of the most astounding differences for you. Maybe this will refresh your memory about what you should’ve learned in school about dictators and authoritarianism. That is, unless you were sleeping or were a chronic skipper.

Vladamir Putin

  •  Murderous dictator who has had his own people executed for criticizing him.
  •  He steals elections, he doesn’t win them.
  •  Has his opposition (Alexei Navalny, for one) murdered.
  • Gives orders to kill those who speak out against him by poisoning them with Novichok or assisting them in finding their way out of windows that are multiple floors off the ground.
  • Bombs commercial airliners out of the sky then denies any involvement.
  • Gave the order to shoot down the aircraft carrying Yevgeny Prigozhin because he dared to rebel against him.
  • His rule has been marked by endemic corruption and widespread human rights violations.
  • Imprisons and suppresses political opponents.
  • Intimidates and censors independent media in Russia.
  • Has ordered the assassinations of multiple journalists.
  • Interferes in American presidential elections (he’s done this multiple times).
  • Invaded Moldova (in Transnistria).
  • Invaded Georgia (in Abkhazia and South Ossetia).
  • Invaded Ukraine (in Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia).
  • Incited A War Against Ukraine (This invasion began on February 24, 2022, and was launched out of Belarus to target Kyiv, and from the northeast against the city of Kharkiv).
  • This war has resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths of Russia and Ukrainian soldiers and innocent civilians, and mass destruction across the region.

 Volodymyr Zylenskyy

  •  Former Ukrainian television show comedian.
  • Democratically elected BY THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE.
  • Was offered an escape when Russia invaded his country but he refused, and instead chose to stay and fight on the front lines alongside Ukrainian soldiers.
  • Has thanked the USA and other countries repeatedly for their assistance in helping Ukraine fight the war against Russia.
  • As of October 2024, his approval rating was 70%, NOT the 4% that Trump lied about. Zelenskyy called him out on this by saying that his statement was a repeat of Russian propaganda.
  • He’s fighting against a dictator to maintain democracy in his country.

 Donald Trump:

  • 5-time draft dodger. Excused from service because of bone spurs. When asked by a reporter at a press conference which foot the spurs were in, he couldn’t remember; therefore, he’s certainly never seen combat. He did, however, say in an interview once that making sure he didn’t contract a venereal disease was “his own personal Viet Nam.”
  • Refers to deceased military members as losers and suckers. Standing at their gravesites, he asked John Kelly, “What was in it for them?”
  • It has been reported by multiple news agencies and an ex-KGB agent that he was recruited by the KGB in 1987 under Code Name: Krasnov. Don’t take my word for it. Google it!
  • Is a pathological liar who lives in his own fantasy world where he believes that everything he says is the truth.
  • Multiple people who worked with him on the set of The Apprentice and in his first administration have told reporters that he wears diapers, often soils himself, and smells badly most of the time.
  • Has a reported IQ of 73 but refers to himself as a “very stable genius” yet refuses to allow schools and universities to release his transcripts that would prove how smart (or dumb) he actually is. Note: Those with low IQ’s such as his often see themselves as highly intelligent while considering those around them with much higher IQ’s as dumb, stupid, ignorant, etc.
  • He’s a bully who loves name-calling. Little Marco, Shifty Schiff, Gavin Newscum, to name a few. He also refers to others as scum of the earth, stupid as a rock, etc. Translated: juvenile and childish behavior.
  • Has the attention span of a gnat. Doesn’t read. Knows nothing about American government. Unfamiliar with world geography. He requires illustrations to assist him with comprehension. I didn’t say that. His former staffers did. Let’s not forget the time he “altered” the trajectory of a hurricane using a Sharpie.
  • He IS Putin’s puppet in every sense of the word. The Mueller Report laid out his Russian ties and connections in detail. Don’t take my word for it. Research his history with Russia, how many times he’s been there, and the businesses he’s been trying to build there for years. You do know how to read, don’t you? You should try it sometime. You might learn a few things you didn’t know before.

 J.D. Vance:

  • Marine veteran, but has never seen combat.
  • Wrote “The Hillbilly Elegy.”
  • Despised Donald Trump at one time. He spoke about him in an extremely negative way, called him several derogatory names and even referred to him as “America’s Hitler.”
  • When asked by Zelenskyy if he’s been to Ukraine, he answered no, but that he’s seen pictures and videos. Dude, if you want to see the real results of a war torn country, take your ass to Ukraine, stumble your way through the wreckage, step over a few dead bodies, visit areas where the sick and injured are being cared for, and take cover when you hear the whirring overhead telling you there’s an incoming bomb. Until then, keep your damn mouth shut about videos and photos. They’re nothing compared to the real thing.

What’s happening in and to our country is abominable. I never thought I’d live to see the day that so many Americans would welcome fascism into America with open arms. Yet, here we are, hoping and praying that the Republicans will miraculously grow a spine, step up to the plate, and do their damn jobs by stopping this madness!!!!!

They have the power. They have the means. They can remove him from office either through impeachment and conviction or by invoking the 25th Amendment. The question is, are any of them brave enough to go up against Trump, or will they continue to roll over like puppies wanting a tummy rub and allow him and Musk to continue wreaking havoc and irreparable destruction to our beloved country?

Time will tell, I suppose. We can only hope that they don’t wait too long. By then, there may be nothing left of the America we all know and love.
