But when I first saw this headline……
It scared me!!! This is an extremely unsettling headline to read, and the contents of the article even more so.
I continue to be amazed at the amount of people who dismiss this threat as easily as swatting away a mosquito! Although the mosquito can and has caused problems, even death, because of the number of diseases they carry and transmit to humans, they are NOTHING in comparison to what Russia can, and HAS, done to the United States of America. Russia is more than capable of causing complete and total annihilation of our country and its inhabitants. At this point in time, nuclear weapons should be the least of our concerns.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!! This is clearly an act of war and a deadly threat to all of us. It is not just Vladimir Putin saying “Look what I can do to you, America…Beware!” It is much more serious than that.
“How did this happen?” you may be wondering. Well, I have a general idea of exactly what occurred.
I created this chart (I am NOT an artist), but I think you’ll get the general idea. Take a good, long look at it….then I’ll tell you what I believe.
On the left is the Russian Troll Farm (aka Internet Research Agency), that deliberately set up fake websites and pretended to be Americans while all the while causing discord and division among American people. They also spread propaganda, posted fake news reports and set up groups for social media users to join and follow, all with the sole purpose of causing dissension and turmoil, of which they were successful.
The right, I’m sure, is self-explanatory and shows every single institute that they hacked into. While a majority was involved in the activities shown on the left, Russian hackers were able to infiltrate our infrastructures right under our noses!!! This was exactly what they had planned to do. The scary part is, they can (and may very well), shut down the entire USA with the flip of a switch! And if this doesn’t scare the crap out of you, then nothing will. Imagine not having electricity or water for an unspecified amount of time, or being on board a flight when the pilot loses all control of the aircraft as Russian hackers take the wheel. At that point, they could either land the plane safely or crash it, whatever their choice may be.

If you have not taken the time to read the indictments issued against the 13 named Russians by Robert Mueller, I highly recommend that you do so. (You can skip over all the Russian names like I did, because I couldn’t pronounce them!!!) There are several sites listed in the indictments that were registered to the troll farm employees, and you can easily check to make sure you’re not posting anything from them. Especially because they WANT to continue to fan the flames and continue the division.

We should ALL be concerned over this, because it isn’t over. Russia continues to meddle into the affairs of the U.S. and we, as a country and as a whole, need to take every step possible to ensure that we don’t wake up tomorrow morning in the dark, without water, or unable to buy groceries.
